If the quality of your video is poor downscale the resolution appropriately. Now this might sound similar to noise suppression but it's a useful setting to have as it completely shuts off your microphone when the level goes below a set amount and then it re-enables the microphone when a certain level is reached again, this allows for complete silence when you aren't speaking. We do not recommend this. But, you also need to balance this with providing a stream that's not going to buffer like mad for your viewers who might be on slower connections. We recommend this only for dynamic scrolling or dynamic files text. I'd line to habe the micrphone about 1 meter 3 feet? Your most likely not going to be able to stream and play well.
When you find you can't hear any background noise or very little, try talking to make sure your voice still comes out okay.
