Is there a way to turn off chat so I don't have to hear these trolls ripping on me? Maybe do some normals before heading to ranked? Regardless, I tested in a custom game, restarting the client between each edit, and my filter was on for both 0 and 1. I did not re-installed league of legends and have not changed anything at the game itself. Also, I know nothing about the logic involved in these files, but wouldn't it make sense for EnableChatFilter to be 0 false if we want chat filter to be disabled? I cannot confirm this though. If you play from multiple computers, I'm pretty sure you will need to repeat this on each computer. Maybe do some normals before heading to ranked? No, and there shouldn't be.
In any case, this may not work for all users. Not certain why you would not have an air folder, probably legacy client related. You can already mute everyone in game, you know that right? Open it with a text editor, WordPad works fine. I've been trying to get good at ranked lately, but I suck. If its not solved then maybe its some thing the files If I remember correctly before the patch there no leng filter in client so it was done with the files I don't remember the location by heart and I'm not near my comp so here's a link for disabling the filter.
I don't want to have to listen to my teammates yell at me, how is that helping the game? I know that you can just mute them individually in game, but is there a way to just turn it off completely? No, and there shouldn't be. The folder with just numbers for a name in step 3 may change with patches. I have 400 ranked wins, plenty in which I've carried. I was just wondering if there was an easier way to do it. If reading in the future, use the highest-numbered folder.
They're not good enough yet. Ubisoft will still handle the distribution of temporary and permanent bans brought on by a manual review process. If you don't want to chat with teammates there should be an option. According to the most recent toxicity update, Ubisoft regarded the previous auto-ban system as effective but said had some drawbacks for other players. Does anyone else has this problem too or knows how to fix it? You wouldn't argue that, would you? What confuses me the most is the fact that in my client options the language filter is disabled, i tried to re-enable it and disable it again but it just won't work. The chat filter system will give direct feedback to players using toxic language while still allowing us to appropriately sanction offending players.
Do not touch anything else, including whitespace. So basically since yesterday all of my games include the language filter in chat. . I'm assuming the process is similar or identical on Macs but I don't own one and couldn't tell you. Also fixed typo change 1 to 0, not the other way around! So yes, there should be.
You can try creating that folder and file following the proper format and testing in a custom, if it doesn't work delete the file and folder you created. I had one bad game as Akali. Everyone here knows that when you are negative and troll your team, you chances of winning diminish. . .
